The Anise Swallowtail Butterflies are made from a road map of Spain, The Monarch Butterflies are made from a road map (Carte Routiere) of France, the Red Admiral Butterflies are made from a street map of Rouen France and the Cabbage White Butterflies are made from a street map of Poole Dorset UK. Framed in a large black box frame size 50cm x 50cm.

There are quirky connections between the name of the butterfly and the maps they are made from, for example the Angelwing is made from a map of the stars and the Camberwell Beauty from a street map of London, the Anise Swallowtail a common butterfly in French is made from a French road map.

Jo is constantly creating new butterfly maps and these can be personalised with a map of a town, region or country of your choice.
