A shoulder bag born from organic Himalayan fibres!

This charming drawstring bag is made from Himalayan hemp and nettle. The front pockets are made from handloomed knit fabric and the drawcord is crocheted hemp and cotton. The shoulder strap is adjustable so that you can set the bag in a perfect position. There is a cut pocket at the back that is useful for train tickets or a mobile phone.

The bag measures 30cm in height, 40cm in width, 10cm in depth and the shoulder strap is adjustable from 60cm to 110cm.

Hemp and nettle grow wild in the remote parts of Nepal and are harvested by local villagers who then use traditional methods for retting, spinning and hand weaving.
