A superbly hand crafted, double sided, end grain chopping board. Made to an original Charles Simon design, this board is both stunningly beautiful and totally functional.

The best chopping boards are always made using the end grain of the timbers for hardness and durability. This size of board comprises of an amazing 1021 individual pieces of quality wood, the cutting field is made from Canadian Maple and American Black Walnut and the surround is from English Yew.

These boards are fitted with two of my engraved brass makers marks as standard but, as can be seen in the pictures, can also be fitted ( at extra cost . £60.00 per set. ) with engraved commemorative plaques. The badges / plaques are fitted , one on each edge and opposite ways up so no matter which side is in use, the dedication can always be read. This particular one was for a very special wedding as you can see.
