Yasmin Yahya was born to a Swiss mother and an Indian father in London.Spending the early years in London, doing the schooling and further studies in Switzerland, she has been living in France-Brittany for more than 10 years. Since July 2009 she is a member of Ateliers dÕArt de France.

In June 2010 she received the prize « la relève » d’Ateliers d’Art de France during the fare trade « Biennale Déco et Création d’Art » in Pantin near Paris. The inspiring sources are her familiarity with different cultures coupled with multiple trips around the world.

The observation of the world around her, the diversity of nature as well as contemporary architecture are part of her jewellery. The clear lines of her creations build a contrast from the present world's profusion.
