During the late 1940s and 50s Keith Murray was the resident designer at Watts and Co.
Found within the Watts archive was a sketch drawing of a peacock created by Murray to be reproduced as an embroidery for St Peters Crown Hill, Plymouth, England. It is from this drawing that the Crown Hill collection of tableware has been inspired.
