This elegant Victorian-inspired cameo pendant is made entirely from sterling silver.
The profile of a woman’s head has been intricately cut out by hand from silver which has been etched with a detailed damask-style pattern. The recessed areas of the pattern have been blackened before the raised areas have been gently sanded back to give a shiny silver finish.
The oval-shaped background also has the same damask pattern etched into the surface. The background has been entirely blackened, but is also slightly shiny, creating a subtle but eye-catching texture.
Both the profile and the background have been domed. The pendant is suspended from a sterling silver chain with handmade findings.
The cameo pendant is approximately 2.5cm (1”) at its tallest point and 1.9cm (0.75”) at its widest. The chain is approximately 43cm (17”) in length.
The length of the necklace can generally be changed – just leave a note when you checkout.
