Miguel Cunha graduated from London Guildhall University in 2000. His career as a furniture and product designer began in 2001 as a co-founder of Anglo-Portuguese design studio Doistrinta. In 2003 Miguel, as part of Doistrinta, was selected by Max Fraser to feature in the acclaimed DESIGN UK2 and received a Development Award by the British Crafts Council. Year 2005 saw Miguel pursue his solo career as a furniture and product designer.
