Around The World In 80 Days, British Library Replica Book Cover for ereaders & Mini-Tablets
This exclusive British Library e-reader and mini tablet case is a replica of an 1888 edition of Jules Verne’s classic travel novel. First published in France in 1873, the story of Phileas Fogg and his servant Jean Passepartout, and their attempt to win a £20,000 bet (£1.3 million today) remains Verne’s most popular work, and has inspired many to attempt the journey themselves. A world record of 54 days using only public transport was set in 1903 by James Willis Sayre.
