Grimm's Fairy Tales, British Library Replica Book Cover for ereaders & Mini-Tablets
This exclusive British Library e-reader and mini tablet case is a replica of an early 20th century edition of the enormously influential collection of folk stories compiled by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm in 1812. The first edition contained 156 stories, which increased to 211 for the seventh in 1857. The collection has inspired many of the world’s greatest book illustrators, including Dulac, Crane and Rackham. The Brothers Grimm spent their last years compiling the definitive German dictionary, that remained incomplete in their lifetimes.
