Madonna of the Pinks - National Gallery Cushion

Product Description

This devotional cushion artwirj was painted for Christian contemplation; its original owner would have held the painting in his or her hand. It shows the Virgin and Child seated in a bedchamber (the bed-curtain is looped behind the Virgins head) with a view of a sunny landscape seen through a window. They hand flowers between them – pinks which are symbols of marriage – depicting the Virgin Mary as not only the Mother but the Bride of Christ.

We have all sorts of amusing characters and celebrities and gifts to choose from. From cult film star legends and Queens to a Nobel Prize winner from dictators and pop-stars to a would-be Saint nobody is off limits for a harmless poke of parody! The designs are available on our luxurious faux suede cushions. There is no end to the amount of fun customers can have with the designs! Whether you're looking for birthday gift or a gift for anyone with a sense of humour at Takkoda we have funny animals gifts galore.
