It is produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), promoting rail travel to the town of Montrose, on the east coast of Scotland, showing a local woman carrying a basket on her back, with the town’s main street, a statue and clock tower in the background. Artwork by Austin Cooper (1890- 1964). Printed by McCoquodale & Co Ltd, Glasgow & London. All National Railway Museum cushions are made with a super soft faux suede and machine washable and comes complete with the cushion pad.
