BymarieIm Marie a surface pattern and lampshade designer originally from Yorkshire and now living in London for 6 amazing years.
From leaving school I always knew I wanted to further my studies in the creative sector and so I went on to study at leeds college of art and design where I learnt the skills of photography fine art graphic design textile design jewellery making and ceramics. I found myself the most happiest when I was working with fabrics textures and pattern and so from leaving Leeds college I went to further my education at the university of Huddersfield where I studied a 3 year course in surface pattern design for fashion and interiors. This is where I fell in love with screen printing and CAD. I then graduated and moved to London where I began to plan my future business.
